In an unexpected treat for fans, fresh footage from Alien: Earth was unveiled during Disney’s 2025 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. The clip, now circulating online courtesy of The Cine Geek, showcases the last surviving members of an ill-fated space crew confront the notorious xenomorph, also known as the perfect organism. This scene perfectly echoes the legendary aesthetic introduced by Ridley Scott in 1979.

The footage highlights Babou Ceesay’s character, Morrow, navigating an unnamed spaceship. He sits tensely in the illuminated MU/TH/UR 6000 control room, a space full of tempting buttons and switches. While Morrow’s role remains ambiguous—whether he’s the captain or possibly an android trying to maintain control amidst chaos—he delivers a chilling update to MU/TH/UR: the “Specimen is loose.” Despite a fellow crew member’s desperate pleas, Morrow grimly verifies to the computer that the crew is deceased and the ship’s ominous destination is Earth, aligning with the series title.

For the first time, audiences will witness weekly encounters with xenomorphs, bringing the threat closer than ever in a narrative that ties into Earth’s dark history of alien encounters, including the legendary Predator saga. Fans can take comfort in the fact that Noah Hawley, renowned creator behind Fargo and Legion, is at the helm, promising to infuse his unique genius into this new realm.

Set in the year 2120, the storyline unfolds two years before Ripley responds to the notorious distress signal, reminding us of the haunting nature of synthetic humans. The series centers around a fortuitous group, led by a young woman played by Sydney Chandler, who encounter a crashed space vessel on Earth. Their ensuing discovery pits them against humanity’s ultimate menace in this eagerly awaited series debuting on FX.

Among the ensemble cast are Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, David Rysdahl, and Adrian Edmondson, each grappling with the terrifying alien threat. Tune in to Hulu later this year to discover who will survive. Maintain an edge on the latest updates straight from The Company by checking everything we know about Alien: Earth.
