Marvel has officially revealed the lineup for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday film, and it’s packed with unexpected surprises and thrilling returns that will captivate fans. The announcement was made via social media and a livestream on YouTube, thrilling viewers with a sneak peek.

The revealing video showed a chair labeled with Chris Hemsworth’s name as the camera panned out to unveil Vanessa Kirby‘s chair. Her character, Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman, is set to make a grand entrance into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) with the upcoming release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps in July. Joining Kirby in the film are Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch, and Pedro Pascal as Mister Fantastic, leaving fans eager to watch them interact with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

The video continued with the familiar tune of the Avengers theme, introducing Anthony Mackie’s chair. Soon after, it revealed the rest of the new team: Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Letitia Wright (Shuri), Wyatt Russell (John Walker), Tenoch Huerta Mejia (Namor), Kelsey Grammer (Beast), Lewis Pullman (Sentry), Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova), David Harbour (Red Guardian), Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost), and Danny Ramirez (Falcon).

Moreover, Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as Loki, after becoming the guardian of the timeline in Loki season 2. However, the grand reveal came with the return of classic Fox-era X-Men members: James Marsden (Cyclops), Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler), Rebecca Romijn (Mystique), Patrick Stewart (Professor X), and Ian McKellen (Magneto). These iconic characters, alongside newcomer Channing Tatum as Gambit, who first appeared in Deadpool and Wolverine, promise an epic crossover.

The final reveal was the chair marked for Robert Downey, Jr., who will embody the character of Doctor Doom, the main antagonist in the upcoming Avengers movie.
