R.E.P.O. (or The Retrieve, Extract & Profit Operation) is making waves as one of the year’s most unexpected hits in the co-op game arena, reminiscent of the chilling success of Lethal Company. Since its meteoric rise on Steam, developers at Semiwork have been diligently crafting their inaugural update, which is gradually approaching completion.
The latest Q&A video from Semiwork reveals some exciting changes forthcoming in this update, particularly addressing the beloved health glitch. Gamers have discovered that in REPO, after eluding the game’s supernatural threats and safely boarding the truck with their loot, they can exploit a trick: equipping a health pack and repeatedly pressing E to indefinitely restore health. This isn’t a closely guarded secret – numerous tutorials are amassing thousands of views, teaching players how to execute the maneuver.
Developer Pontus Sundstrom explains in the Q&A, “We have a pretty good grasp on the exploits and glitches the game currently offers on the live version, so to speak, and most of these things have already been fixed, and they will be pushed out together with the first update.”
In other parts of the video, there are discussions about a potential enhancement in the form of a stamina regeneration upgrade, which may activate while crouching. “This is still a work in progress idea,” the team notes, as they seek community feedback before finalizing this feature. “Is this a good idea?” they ask the players.
