Inspired by the legendary Let Me Solo Her, a player whose steadfast cooperation became celebrated by both the publisher Bandai Namco and other games, a fellow Tarnished hero known as Let Me Solo Them embarked on a cooperative quest of her own a few years back. Staying true to her character’s name, she dedicated herself to assisting struggling players in their battle against the final bosses of Elden Ring: Radagon and the Elden Beast.
Fast forward to this month, she has surpassed an astounding 10,000 final boss victories after accumulating a staggering 5,300 hours in FromSoftware‘s expansive RPG. Speaking with GamesRadar+, she expressed that the secret to her perseverance lies in the joy she finds in playing the game, stating, “I just found a way of playing the game that brings myself and others joy, and that is the true reason why I kept going.” With such a significant milestone, she can’t help but wish that the folks at FromSoftware or Bandai Namco notice her dedication, a sentiment shared by many in the player community.
Why commit to this endeavor? “It all boils down to the fact that I just enjoy helping people,” Let Me Solo Them explains. “For me, the fight against the final boss is just really fun. I’ve done it so many times that I can practically do it with my eyes closed. To other players, the impact is substantial, and it means so much. I have received heartfelt and kind messages after battles and have met so many wonderful people along this journey.” On average, she manages roughly 10 boss kills daily, though she admits to having “absolutely” more intense days. “My record would have to be 100 in one day, taking about 13 consecutive hours of summonings,” she recalls.
Since our last update with Let Me Solo Them, Elden Ring has been enriched by the enormous DLC: Shadow of the Erdtree. This new addition posed new challenges for our helm-bearing heroes, prompting Let Me Solo Her to assist with varied bosses, and Let Me Solo Them followed suit. “Players I’ve aided in the past reached out again for my help with the DLC bosses,” she shares. “From Rellana to Consort Radahn (many times), I lent my strength. Although my focus was mainly on Radagon and the Elden Beast, I’ve been there for other boss battles if players messaged me for help.”
With 10,000 kills achieved, Let Me Solo Them declares her satisfaction but admits she doesn’t have a new goal set in stone. “I would still like to continue helping other players, as that is what I love doing the most. I’m very much looking forward to FromSoftware‘s next titles.” It seems these upcoming FromSoftware games are designed to deepen community collaboration, more so than ever before.
Elden Ring: Nightreign, a 3-player co-op action game, transforms the Lands Between into a session-based roguelike, while the Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive The Duskbloods is an 8-player PvPvE game with a ferocious twist. Whether there will be jar helmets in these games remains uncertain, but there will undoubtedly be cooperative play, necessitating the rise of heroes. Former Sony exec Shuhei Yoshida remarks that The Duskbloods will “of course” be “great,” but both it and Elden Ring Nightreign represent a “new challenge” for FromSoftware and lead developer Hidetaka Miyazaki.
