Rockstar Games has once again taken the gaming world by surprise with the sudden release of the new GTA 6 trailer. The trailer has left fans awestruck with its hyper-realistic visuals, including a professional game artist who has been highlighting its stunning features.

In a detailed online discussion, Francesco “FR3NKD” Piacenti, a self-described “professional game artist,” shares his keen observations of the technical intricacies found in the new GTA 6 trailer. Starting with a screenshot of protagonist Jason Duval, he notes the “realistic deformation of muscles,” among other remarkable features.

The showcased visuals include exquisitely detailed reflections in car mirrors, and the mesmerizing effect of light passing through glass to produce refractions. Characters in the game sweat with shimmering realism, while beer forms authentic bubbles and foam. Cars gather dirt particles, hinting at dynamic environmental interaction over time.

Additionally, intricately modeled hair with a “complex physics simulation” captures lifelike movement, complemented by individually rendered blades of grass, jiggling body parts, and even coins inside cash registers. Image gallery of the GTA VI trailer observations on social media provides a captivating glimpse into these features.

Much like the stunning aesthetics in Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA 6 sets a new standard with more vivid lighting and water rendering. The environments are brought to life with delightful precision, featuring raccoons rummaging through garbage and leaves collecting at building edges, enhancing the immersive experience.

These enhancements, however, raise concerns over performance, with one observer commenting on whether “commercial graphic cards can handle it.” Still, the excitement among developers and players is palpable. As many have noted, “Grand Theft Auto 6 looks like a AAA game from the future” with its “incredible graphical fidelity.” Even GTA series veterans, including creator Mike Dailly, praise the game, calling the environment “lovely” and noting that “things are moving much better.”

As we anticipate the game’s May 2026 release, there’s no telling just how breathtaking and environmentally engaging GTA 6 will truly be. One thing is certain; players will soon get to experience it firsthand and discover that a subtle nod in the trailer towards Red Dead Redemption 2 suggests both games share a common universe.
