The excitement surrounding GTA 6 has reached incredible heights, with its second trailer reportedly breaking viewership records. Enthusiastic fans have meticulously examined all 5,000 frames since its release. If that wasn’t enough, Rockstar Games‘ parent company has now set even higher expectations with ambitious declarations about the game’s potential.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, in a conversation with CNBC, confidently asserted, “The key thing is that Rockstar Games is trying to create the best thing anyone’s ever seen in entertainment, not just interactive entertainment.” Creating such a masterpiece is a formidable challenge, yet the anticipation for this title is through the roof.

Zelnick’s ambitious claims could easily seem far-fetched if it were any other form of entertainment, like comedy or concerts. However, given the series’ legacy, millions are likely to genuinely find it the most impressive experience they’ve ever witnessed. “But the delay itself is really a reflection of desire to polish and create the best possible experience for consumers, and we as a company have been known not to have a sort of slavish devotion to release dates but rather to seek the highest quality entertainment,” he continued.

Elsewhere in the dialogue, Zelnick reiterated a familiar stance: “Generally, when we announce a date [for] certain, we’re able to hit that date.” This is a sentiment he has shared before, highlighting the company’s historically reliable release tactics, as demonstrated with GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2. Let’s hope this track record holds true once more with GTA 6.

Currently, GTA 6 fan theories are swirling around minute details, whether it’s a potential Manhunt tattoo or a background film associated with GTA 5’s Michael. The community’s intrigue remains as vibrant as ever, fueling ongoing discussions and speculations.
