It seems like only yesterday that developer Supergiant delighted fans with the massive Patch 9 for Hades 2. Actually, it’s been just over two weeks, yet here they are again. Patch 10 has now landed, bringing with it an exciting hint: “this will likely be our final patch before our v1.0 launch, whenever that will be!” Catch more on their updates through their official website.
As Hades 2 inches closer to wrapping up its early access phase, Supergiant is racing to tie up Melinoë’s epic saga. Nonetheless, they managed to push through a slew of balance tweaks in Patch 10. This focuses particularly on adjustments made in the previous Unseen Update, introduced in Patch 9, keeping players on their toes. You can stay updated with developments in the gaming world on platforms like GamesRadar.
Among noteworthy changes, there’s a broad fix: “Reduced further cases of successive attacks causing you to become ‘stun-locked.'” After all, there’s nothing more frustrating than losing a battle due to chained attacks.
The Nocturnal Arms weapons are seeing some adjustments too. For example, the Witch’s Staff (Melinoë) now offers lower Magick and Power bonuses, while its counterpart (Momus) releases slightly fewer serpent Omega moves. The agile Sister Blades (Pan) have been adjusted to make “dashing out of recovery times” easier. Meanwhile, the Argent Skull (Medea) gets a slight reduction to its AoE bonus, but it’s still better than the base form. Patching up the new Oath of the Unseen introduced recently, Supergiant ramps up the difficulty. The Vow of Frenzy now speeds up foes entering the battle while also reducing the effects on Vow of Rivals moves. As for the Vow of Scars, it now properly addresses instances where Life recovery wasn’t dropping as intended.
Boons, Blessing upgrades, and Hexes are also seeing a wave of minor tweaks. One standout community-suggested change enhances Path of Stars: “Adjusted Path of Stars layouts to accommodate Godsent upgrades,” which should ease drafting a bit. Another suggestion streamlines resource choices by reducing the chance of not finding resources matched with your Animal Familiar, especially in shorter regions.
