After a challenging week, a touch of illness, or the threat of your beloved show being nearly axed, it’s only natural to hunker down and order some comfort food before facing the real world again. That’s exactly what our adored, plush-like cook, Tiny Chef, decided to do by indulging in a pizza to mark his triumph over his show’s near-cancellation by Nickelodeon. However, the choice of pineapple as a topping has stirred as much controversy as whether The Last Jedi resonates with fans.
The news first broke via an Instagram post, where Tiny Chef’s team expressed their gratitude: “The team is gearing up to switch the tiny cameras back on in Chef’s tree stump abode because you all have SAVED TINY CHEF on socials!!!! The tremendous amount of love messages, fan art, and donations have really touched the team. We’re looking forward to working again and sharing Chef’s upcoming adventures with you!!! From the bottom of our hearts, fank yew.”
Following this, Chef took a much-needed duvet day, opting for a pineapple pizza (“who eats pizza without pineapples?”) which ignited some fan backlash. Some even reconsidered their enthusiasm for the revival of Tiny Chef on screen.
