Ortega enthusiastically shares, “Visually, I can say we have some of the most fun we’ve ever had.” In a conversation with Collider while promoting her latest film, Death of a Unicorn, she teased, “There’s a frame of Pugsley with this contraption around his head, eyes rolled back. It reminds me so much of Full Metal Jacket. It’s wild and bizarre.”
She further elaborates, “Expect an entire episode dedicated to slashers, packed with horror references. We have more creative freedom this time, allowing us to craft bigger, more intricate sequences.” Despite the heightened excitement, Netflix has yet to announce the official release date for the new episodes, though production is progressing steadily.
